- Price match is for loose diamonds only, and it does not cost you anything to use this service.
- Our Grown Brilliance Customer Service team members are full-time employees who are trained to ensure the most fair evaluation of your Price Match request.
- Our Specialty team does NOT work on commissions, so they are in no way intending to up-sell you larger or more expensive products. They will assess your request in a fair manner and ensure accuracy of the match.
Feel free to compare our loose diamonds to any retailer’s loose lab grown diamond of the same quality. Please be sure to compare apples to apples when reviewing the diamonds. This includes all 4 Cs: Carat weight, Cut (shape included), Color, and Clarity. These four diamond attributes need to be the same between the two compared diamonds. Please make sure that the diamond you’re evaluating, is sold on a public-facing website domain of a legitimate retailer, and not a private seller. IGI Certification
Why Choose IGI Certification for Your Diamond?
IGI employs a team of expert gemologists to scientifically determine the quality of each diamond. IGI prides itself on having a faster certification time. Unlike GIA, IGI works like a factory, ensuring that it produces grading reports quickly. Gems are graded against certain criteria, and this criterion is based upon four elements we refer to as the four C’s:
- Carat: Measures weight, impacting the diamond’s size and value. Both natural and lab diamonds are graded on the same carat scale. The carat weight plays a big part in determining the value of the diamond. Lab diamonds are formed differently than natural diamonds, however, they are still measured in terms of carat weight.
Color: Ranges from D (colorless) to Z (yellowish). Lab diamonds also show color variations based on the creation process.
Clarity: Graded from FL (flawless) to I (included), based on visible flaws seen under 10x magnification.
Cut: Evaluates how well a diamond is shaped, polished, and proportioned. It significantly affects the diamond’s overall appearance and is graded from poor to excellent. The cut is the most critical factor in determining a diamond’s quality.

Even the craftsmanship differs from jeweler to jeweler, which includes diamond setting techniques, the number of times it is polished, as well as the thickness of the rhodium plating.
